Greetings in the name of our blessed and glorious Lord Jesus, who is wonderful in all His ways!
We have had the joy of visiting a number of folks in their homes this month, believing for the “eyes of their understanding to be enlightened” as we have shared the Word and prayed with them.
Two weeks ago we took part in a powerful time of prayer on Mt. Taylor, one of four sacred mountains in the Navajo tradition. In the unity of the Spirit we came together as one to repent of sin, confess the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and declare His victory over the Navajo Nation.
Here at Smith Lake we continue to stand with and fight for those in our little flock whose loved ones are in bondage to alcoholism. It is everywhere we look and shows how much hopelessness there is without our Lord. Continue reading September 2015 Update

“Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen” Eph. 6:23, 24
Greetings in the name of our Lord,
We rejoice to see our little congregation becoming faithful in the things of God, and most seem hungry for more truth and God’s presence
Those who are coming to our Sunday night prayer service are earnest in their prayer as their faith is being stirred to expect God’s moving on their behalf. They’re learning to pray and move in the Holy Spirit. Their baptism in the Holy Spirit is bringing them dreams and visions as well as a great burden for the salvation of their families.
“The Blessing of the Lord be upon you: we bless you in the Name of the Lord.” Psa. 129:8
“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.” Psa. 90:17
We rejoice in the goodness of the Lord as we end this month. He is faithful to us in every area of life. We have witnessed Him sending much needed snows and rains to this area in the last month, more than normal we are told.
The Lord continues to bring in new people. Several have believed on the Lord and desire to be water baptized. Our Kids’ Night Out is growing PTL! Some of the children asked the Lord into their hearts last evening. We rejoice at what the Lord is doing here among us. Continue reading June 2015 Update
“According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” II Peter 1:3, 4
Praise the Lord! The ministry was blessed to be able to purchase the brush mower at a local dealer in Farmington, NM. The owner gave us a great deal and included the assembly and initial gas-up as part of the package. Thank you for your generosity.
Kids’ Night Out
Two weeks ago the Lord gave us the opportunity to hold a meeting in the home of a young mom whose mother and step-dad come here. There was a house-full, and youngest to eldest listened to God’s Word and our testimonies. We rejoice that one gave her heart to the Lord and another recommitted her life to Jesus as His Spirit moved among us. These two moms and two out of the six children came to our next service and then joined us for our Friday Kids’ Night Out. Please pray for this family that they would have a hunger to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord. We are also offering refuge and care to a mom and her family of six until she is able to get a job and apartment through another ministry in the Gallup, NM area. Continue reading May 2015
Greetings in the Name of Jesus, our risen Savior and Lord!
This week we are rejoicing in our Lord’s victory over sin and death.
”O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”
We are showing “The Passion of the Christ” this Friday to kick off our Kids’ Night Out events. We are looking to the Kids’ Night Out and Sunday school to reach these lost and wandering young people and then their families. Please keep these outreaches in your prayers as we plan to canvass the area again in the next couple of weeks. Continue reading April 2015 Update
This month has been full as the ministry transition continues. Pastors Jim and Sandi Nunes came as part of our eldership to teach on discipleship, as it is needed among our Navajo people. Their teachings were full of godly wisdom and true treasures for the Body of Christ. Also Bro. Roger Bedingfield and his wife Debra came and spent time with us. They desire to help us establish a strong foundation. Roger has a real heart for discipling young men to equip them for the work of the kingdom. Pray with us for them, as they desire to live here to help the ministry.
Another opportunity for fellowship and ministering together with area pastors came through a series of meetings hosted by Cornerstone Ministry. Pastor Jeannette Connell and her team came to teach on spiritual cleansing and ministered deliverance and healing.
Breakthrough 4 Life is anticipating the arrival of Bro. Pat Toner from western Washington State. He will be here the week of Mar.18-24. He has a proven and accurate ministry in the prophetic office and will be bringing a word for the Navajo people.
The Tuesday women’s Bible studies and Sunday school for the children are our main focus as we believe for a great harvest among those we teach. There is such a mixture of truth and falsehood that only the “sincere milk of the Word” will bring eternal change.
From Pastor Alana: “Our dear friends of many years, Pastor Tom and Lisa Goss came to be with me and Ms. Linda when my beloved passed away. They have remained here to help Breakthrough and have been a true blessing as they have put in countless hours working on technology issues and the indescribable gift of comfort, encouragement and being a true elder brother to me. Lisa and baby have been a true family in my sorrow; I’m truly blessed and strengthened, as well as Ms. Linda. Their efforts for the kingdom’s sake are invaluable, and we can’t thank them enough.”
Over the next few months the Breakthrough 4 Life website will go through some necessary updates. The radio portion is the first to be re-worked and will be available the first week of March. We were blessed this month to meet with some other brothers involved in radio ministry in the Navajo Nation, and we look forward to seeing what comes from this networking.
Thank you, our friends and partners in this kingdom work! Your continued prayers and support are much appreciated.
I had the wonderful opportunity to go to my daughter’s home and be with my children for Christmas and New Year’s after Don’s funeral. It was a great blessing to be able to visit my aging parents, brothers and sisters, and ministry friends. All of them asked, “What now?” I was able to say with confidence, “The mission did not die with Pastor; I am going back home.” During this time I am focusing on the vision, even as I experience moments of mourning and loss for my beloved. His memory is in every room. The Lord is the strength of my life and will carry me. I want to thank you for your prayers, cards and support. Don was so loved by all of you. It has touched me deeply.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)
When Pastor Don Randall received the call to come up to the Navajo Nation to minister, he knew that in the natural realm there was a possibility he could face death. However, that did not stop him from obeying the Lord. Pastor trusted that the Lord was capable of sustaining him and healing his physical condition. On December 17th he received the ultimate healing and went home to be with the Lord. A funeral service was held in the school building at Smith Lake on December 23rd, and Pastor Don was buried in a cemetery directly across the road from the school building.
Although the Lord called Pastor home the labor of the harvest continues: John 4:35b “…Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.” There is still tremendous need among the Navajo people, and the vision that the Lord gave Pastor for the ministry is still unfolding.
