April 2015 Update

Greetings in the Name of Jesus, our risen Savior and Lord!

This week we are rejoicing in our Lord’s victory over sin and death.

”O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”
I Cor.15:55.

We are showing “The Passion of the Christ” this Friday to kick off our Kids’ Night Out events. We are looking to the Kids’ Night Out and Sunday school to reach these lost and wandering young people and then their families. Please keep these outreaches in your prayers as we plan to canvass the area again in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you to all of you who have given towards the purchase of the brush mower. Praise the Lord; we have received half of the funds needed. What a blessing!

We are hoping to order the mower before April 16, 2015, so we can take advantage of a free shipping offer which will save us about $400.00.

The Lord has also blessed the ministry with a work truck. A fellow pastor in El Paso, TX has shared his blessing with us! It is a 1994 GMC that has been well maintained, and we thank God for His provision.

We were delighted to have Pat and Elaine Toner with us for a week. We enjoyed rich fellowship and God’s presence during special meetings with them. We look forward to their return.

From Alana,

Greetings with much love: The Lord has caused me to remain in His strength and peace since Don’s going home. There are still moments of deep sorrow and many tears as I miss my beloved. Your prayers for me and the team are always needed and so appreciated. I am grateful for the team the Lord began to establish with Pastor and I. The team is growing as another couple is coming on board. ”All of us” are in this transition and desire to see the “us” become “one”. We desire to be one in the unity of the Spirit for the Gospel of the kingdom. There are moments of great joy as well as great challenges in our learning to work together for our Lord.
