Pastor Alana’s thoughts:
I had the wonderful opportunity to go to my daughter’s home and be with my children for Christmas and New Year’s after Don’s funeral. It was a great blessing to be able to visit my aging parents, brothers and sisters, and ministry friends. All of them asked, “What now?” I was able to say with confidence, “The mission did not die with Pastor; I am going back home.” During this time I am focusing on the vision, even as I experience moments of mourning and loss for my beloved. His memory is in every room. The Lord is the strength of my life and will carry me. I want to thank you for your prayers, cards and support. Don was so loved by all of you. It has touched me deeply.
We have been blessed and encouraged to hear our Navajo brothers and sisters express their desire that we stay, and they have called us family. Continue reading February 2015 Update
